| Properties |
Preservative with a broad spectrum anti-bacterial activity (Gram +/-) and particularly pseudomonicide; anti-mildew, anti-yeast; non-irritant for human tissues. Insect repellent. Synergic action with quaternary ammonium salts. Compatible with Alutrat (Vevy codex 12.0250) and Laurene (Vevy codex 11.0496), ionic and non-ionic agents. Chemically inert in the presence of essential oils and perfumes.

Phenoxyethanol and Methyl, Ethyl, Propyl, Butyl Parabens in proportions designed to obtain the best partition coefficient between water and oil, as well as the best results in challenge tests; it is characterized by a minimal cutaneous enzymotoxic activity and by a response as low as possible in subjects sensitive to parabens.
