gelling agent, humectant, viscosity regulator for emulsions (easily dispersed in water, relatively short dissolving time). For the production of clear, aqueous, safe gels; low adherance. Stable at a large pH range (See Alcoramnosan and Liporamnosan). Very weak film forming action.
